Know For Certain

You can know for certain that you have eternal life, and that you will go to heaven when you die by...

Acknowledging that you have sinned and that you cannot earn your way into heaven by your own good works.

Romans 3:23 - "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"

Ephesians 2:8-9 - "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast."

Believing in the death, burial and physical resurrection of Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 - "For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures"

Committing yourself by faith to Jesus Christ and submitting to Him as Lord.

Romans 10:9-10 - "that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation"

John 14:6 = "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me'"
